At EMD e-Bikes, products sold through our store include manufacturer-backed warranty coverage against defects in materials or workmanship. Coverage periods vary by brand and component. Please review the summary and brand-specific sections below.

Important: All warranty claims require proof of purchase, clear photos or video of the issue, and approval from the relevant supplier or manufacturer before replacement parts or returns are processed.

  • Water damage or water ingress
  • Crash, impact, or intentional damage
  • User repairs, modifications, or disassembly
  • Damage caused by low tyre pressure, potholes, pits, or speed bumps
  • Repairs done elsewhere without approval

  • Improper assembly, modifications, or unapproved accessories

  • No proof of purchase
  • Expired warranty period
  • Improper use, maintenance, or adjustment
  • User modification, disassembly, or repair
  • Water, corrosion, foreign object, or impact damage
  • Missing or unreadable serial numbers or labels

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • The product model
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Clear photos or video showing the fault

Once received, we will review the claim and work with the relevant supplier or manufacturer to determine the next step. This may include troubleshooting, replacement parts, repair approval, or other support depending on the brand policy.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
